  A 24 hour minor Operation theatre is available for any emergency surgery; the hospital is tied up with trauma care Consortium and is registered MLC as well. The intensive care unit is situated next to the casualty. Poison cases and all acute emergency medical cases are shifted to the ICU immediately. A 24 hr ambulance service is available, so that the golden hour concept is fully practiced, i.e., the first one hour of any major injury or medical crisis is the most important one. The expanding emergency and 24hr trauma services are catering to an increasing percentage of the population with the passing months.

All care is provided by board-certified emergency medicine physicians and other health professionals specially trained in treating urgent and non-urgent conditions, with support from in-house specialists in a variety of disciplines.		  
  Heart Attack and Stroke Care
Lifeline Multispeciality Hospital's Emergency Department is supported by an experienced staff of health professionals specializing in the care of cardiovascular conditions, including heart attack and stroke. Angioplasty and other interventional cardiac procedures are available 24 hours a day through the Hospital's Cardiovascular Institute.

The Hospital also follows nationally recommended protocols for stroke care, including delivery of clot-busting medications when appropriate and, in severe cases, intra-arterial injection of TPA.		  
     
  Burn Care
Lifeline Multispeciality Hospital is home to the region's largest burn center. Burn emergencies are taken directly to the Burn Center to be evaluated by a highly trained team of burn specialists.

In addition to cardiovascular and burn care, the department offers specialized care in Gastroenterology, Pulmonary Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Rheumatology, Renal and Endocrine, Orthopaedics in conjunction with those divisions and their training programs.
