Recalling the interview in The Hindu dated December 21, 2000, I vividly remember that I expressed my burning desire to support and help as many as I can. I am glad that I had the ability to walk my talk. As I said in the concluding line, "There is still a lot more to be done. People are in need".

As Swami Vivekananda said, do not part with a paltry sum and feel that you have done another a great favor. Indeed you should be thankful that you were awarded an opportunity to serve one of HIS children. It is the privilege of the blessed to exercise one's power of benevolence and mercy in this world.
