EVENT - HEALTH CAMPS
![]() They say, “If the mountain will not come to Mohammed, then Mohammed must go to mountain”. So, if the public does not go to the hospital for health checks, the hospital goes to the public to get them screened for the diseases. For the modern medicine believes in preventive medication and treatment, instead of curative ones. A free health camp was conducted in the High court premises by Lifeline Hospital, Kilpauk, in association with Lions Club, on 14th November 2009, for the lawyers, High court staff and their families. Around 430 persons were screened and had their blood pressure, blood sugar, dental screening, diet screening and counselling done, in addition to a general check up by our physician. A similar camp was held at Koyambedu to screen the coolies and load carriers of the vegetable market on 22nd November 2009. It was done in reciprocation to the good will gesture of the vegetable shop owners who send the daily requirement of vegetable to Melmaruvatthur temple in turns. |
