 H20 (Help to others), a Fund raiser Carnival was organized in support of Consumers Association of India, Chennai and Dr. Rajarathinam Medical and Educational Foundation, Chennai.
The Children from affluent families are indeed the Modern day ‘Siddhartha’ as they are oblivious to the suffering that their less privileged counterparts endure.
This Carnival was an initiative by the youngsters, to break this trend, voluntarily committing themselves to spending their time and energy in support of the society, thus making it a better place.
The carnival was held on 2nd May 2010, Sunday between 4 and 9 pm at Youth Hostel, Indira Nagar, Adayar, Chennai -20.
It was inaugurated by Cricketer Mr. Sunil Subramaniam.
The fund raised was handed to the trust on 7th May 2010, in the presence of Mr Sugal Chand Jain, the Chairman of Sugal & Damini Group. A Philanthropist , who presided over the felicitation of the H20 Team, held at the Lifeline Hospital,Peringudi Chennai. |
