On 11th of July 2010, Dr J S Rajkumar was awarded the honorary professorship by IMA (Indian Medical Association) College of General Practitioners, Tamil Nadu. This was done in recognition of his academic excellence, social contributions and his altruistic aptitude and attitude for teaching.
He was declared Honorary State Professor by Dr S. Thanikachalam , Vice Chancellor Sri Ramachandra Medical College at a official gathering held at IMA Building, Tambaram, Chennai.
