The initiation meeting of 'Fight Fat Club' was held on 19th September 2009, at the hospital premises at Perungudi.
Most members knew the right type of food to be consumed and the life style modification required to remain healthy.
Like all good things, it seemed more of a challenge to adhere it. A diet plan and an exercise regime were recommended to the members who have taken this weight loss challenge.

Apart from their body weight, Lipid profile, ECG, blood sugar, B.P. as well as their fat % and measurement were recorded to access their progress in health apart from monitoring the scale for weight loss.
