Chennai: A project to give opportunity for women to undergo free medical check-up was launched on Sunday by the Rotary International Dist.3230. The project named SAK-THI-3 gives importance to the health and well being of women, who generally neglect to take care of their health till the preventable illness becomes a major life threatening issue when diagnosed at a later stage Breast and cervical cancer is a major killer in India particularly in Tamil Nadu.
